Geumbi (Korean massage therapist from Daejeon)

She is my favorite massage therapist!
She does Swedish, sports, Ayuvedic massage, Shiatzu and great facial treatment.
Since she lives in Daejeon and has to come to Seoul by train, it is worth for her to have at least 2 clients.
If you want to get a massage or facial from her, let me know!
I will also see if I can take time to get a massage or facial as well that day!
I once travelled all the way to Daejeon to get a massage from her when my body was so sore and tired!
She has a massage shop in Daejeon(Sintanjin). If you know anyone who lives there! Let them know she is great massage therapist!
She doesn't speak English well though.
I will update her rate when I find the note she wrote down the rate.
I paid 50,000 won special facial treatment for myself and it was like heaven!! :) Feels great and she is really really great!
She's in her 40s and been in the massage and facial, cosmetic industry since in her 20s.

I finished Swedish massage course in 2002 and have been going to housecall massages to top hotels to the business travellers and expats.
I've heard that I was 2nd best Swedish massage therapist from one business man who has been getting massage all over the world upto 52th times...and it was great to hear that comment from him!
I have regualr client at Hyatt hotel resident business man and expat.
I have good feedback from my clients-Hyatt, Shilla hotel, Sofitel Ambassador, Fraser Suite, Western Choseon to name a few clientel.

It usually takes 1 hour and 20 to 30 min to give massage.
For housecall, the rate is 100,000 won for 1 hour session, 130,000 won for 1 hour 20 or 30 min session.
If you come to Well-being Studio, the rate goes to 80,000 won(1 hour) and 100,000 won(1 hour 20 to 30 min..usually I pass the time frame when the clients have lots of knots on shoulders because it takes time to work on the knots.

My Swedish massage can be very soothing and relaxing but it also can be very therapeutic and the knots are worked on very carefully.
You will feel much better and lighter and relaxed after the session.

Conny is my friend whom learned the Swedish with me in 2002.
She does Swedish and Thai massage.
Also she can do ear candling. :)
She speaks English and she lives in Itaewon area like me.
Thai massage 1 hour 80,000 won
Thai massage 2 hour  with ear candling 120,000 won
She will also teach Thai massage course to those who want to learn how to give Thai massage.
She took a course in Thailand and also learned more to become a Thai massage teacher in Korea as well. :)

She is very strong so if you like very strong massage like sports style or Shiatzu style...try her! You will like her massage style if Swedish is not your type of massage.
She is from jeju island and working at a golf resort as a freelance massage therapist for Golfer tourists there both Korean and Japanese.
She speaks basic massage Japanese. :)
But she doesn't speak English very well. But I can help you before your massage session regarding your concern.
She is about to go to Jeju so if you want to try her massage before she leave on 31st of January~hurry up!
