2/8 The Afet Collective HELP benefit
I'm the leader of a group of 7 dancers from 4 countries in Tokyo. We raise money for Housing in the Emergency of Love and Peace. It's a Tokyo women's shelter. We formed in late 2006. To date we've raised 170, 000 yen.
We are featured in January 2008's Being A Broad magazine. We will be featured in Japan's oldest English newspaper The Japan Times "What's On" section in the coming weeks as well as Metropolis magazine's "Agenda" section.

2/9 Succulent Shimmies workshop at Devadasi studio in Tokyo

This workshop will focus on creating powerful travelling and stationary shimmies by releasing our inner energy. We will study techniques for developing longer and deeper layers and work on some lush shimmy combinations.
